A very lovely vintage sterling & Nielloware brooch with the eye catching likeness of goddess Mekkala.
The brooch measures approximately 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. There is reticulated sterling designs around the Nielloware & sterling goddess figure.
The back of the pin is stamped: "SIAM Sterling" & probably dates back to the wars in Southeast Asia purchased as gifts for loved ones by military personnel.
