Manufacturer: Westmoreland Glass A very nice c.1905 Westmoreland opaque blue covered jar with good gold decoration.
The jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The toothed lid is what is known as the hog scraper top.
These items were widely used as mustard jars at that time. This is a very nice antique glass item for a collection & could be used as a sugar bowl or dresser jar.
The jar with lid is 5" tall & 3 3/4" wide & about 3" across. This make a lovely covered jar for your dresser or a covered sugar or jam jar on your table. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
