This is an extremely lovely cut crystal body swan has ornate metal head, neck & movable wings. The item is in mint condition with the exception of areas on the gilt metal portions. This does not distract from the beauty of the piece as the head, neck & wings are very ornate, heavily detailed feathers & a rose on each wing, blending into the wing feathers.
The wings swing open & closed, serving as a cover for the heavily cut crystal swan body.

The crystal is in mint condition, probably due to the fact it had a heavy pink velvet piece glued to the base which protected the cut crystal base.
It has been many years since I've seen one anywhere near this lovely & in such good condition. The last one I saw was stated to be French. It measures 6 1/2" long & 6" tall.
