A lovely & unusual vintage paperweight by Nancy Freeman, one of the few women glass artists. Her work includes stem ware & drinking glass ware in the White House collection.
This weight measure approximately 3 1/4" in diameter & 2 1/8" in height. It has controlled clear bubbles in a center of pale yellow with cobalt blue & deep red areas in the gathering.
The weight is signed on the base:N FREEMAN 5/76. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There is only normal base wear.
