A beautiful antique barrel piano by the famous instrument maker Luis Casali of Barcelona, Spain, for your inspection.
This is a very nice barrel piano with a beautiful faux grained finish, operated by a crank on one side of the piano. The piano is fully functioning, playing 10 different songs when cranked. One would want to have the piano tuned when it is delivered.
This lovely piece is from the collection of Col. Donald Davis, U. S. Army (Ret.), who has traveled & lived throughout the world during his interesting & exciting life. As a child, Col.

Davis was a child actor in the old Mack Sennett movies, using the names John Henry, Jr. & Don Morris. He is an inveterate collector with a wide range of interests.
The barrel piano measures 39" long, 19" deep at it's widest, & is 46" high. The photos show 2 cracks in a board on the crank side of the piano & a short one that appears to be on the outer ply of the inner board. We have tried to show every area of the instrument. These items appear to be easily refurbished by an artisan.
There is a bronze plate on the front of the piano with: "LUIS CASALI Torres Amati -Barcelona" & 4 decorative coin-like medallions.
The 10 songs are listed, in writing, in a frame on one side of the piano. The pins on the barrel appear to be intact. The faux finish is beautifully done & the original finish, & is untouched.
