This lovely Nielloware & sterling pendant with Mekkala, the Goddess of Lightning, in all her splendor.

This piece is only 1 of 2 pendants we have with this motif that is not marked. The rest are marked "Siam" & "Sterling".

The pendant measures 2 1/8 inches long from the top piece the base of the larger drop & at it's widest is about 7/8 inch wide. With a lovely sterling chain this would make an excellent gift or accent accessory. It is in very good condition with no dents or scratches.

These pieces were probably purchased by U.S. Military personnel during the war in Southeast Asia.Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
