A beautiful, antique, deep ruby red Venetian trumpet vase with applied leaves & flowers, entwined around the vase, with gold metallic particles -- a really fabulous item for your review.
The vase measures approximately 8 1/8 inches tall, 4 1/8 inches in diameter at the top, & has a 3 1/4 inch base. A clear glass vine is twined around the vase from the base to just under the upper lip, & there are 2 red & 3 white applied flowers.
The vase is in wonderful condition considering it's age & the delicate applied glass vine. Gold metallic particles are heavily sprinkled on the outside layer of the vase. I cannot not do justice in describing this fantastic piece.
This makes an excellent example of antique Venetian glass, with a double bonus of the deep ruby red glass so desired by collectors & lovers of fine glass. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
