Manufacturer: Case XX This vintage CASE XX 3-blade pocket knife has red bone scales & is in very good to excellent condition. We believe this to be an older Case knife & could be classified as antique.
The knife is 3 1/2" in the closed position with a 1 7/8" primary blade & 1 3/4" second blade, & a 1 3/4" third blade.

The tang on the primary blade is inscribed on the tang on one side with:Case XX between 2 rows of 5 dots each. The other side has an inscription: USA. The tang of the secondary blade is inscribed with: USA 63032 CV. The other side has no inscription, nor does the third blade.
None of the blades have been sharpened but they are made of high carbon steel & have patination throughout, & some pepper marks. There is no rust, nicks, or scratches on any of the blades. Each blade has a strong snap when closing & in the open position, there is no play.
The bolsters are of nickel silver & have no scratches. The red bone scales are mint in appearance without cracks, chips or nicks.
This knife is rated as good to excellent condition, particularly for one of this age. It makes a handsome addition to any knife collection or to the pocket of a sporting gentleman. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. |
