A beautiful oriental wind bell, highly ornate with oriental emblems & symbols, for your review.
The two sides of the bell have the "5 Bats" symbol in a circle which symbolizes Serenity of Mind, Longevity, Cultivation of Riches & the Completion of a Life's Work. There are other symbols within the circle of bats, on the top, & around the edge of the bell.
Attached to the clapper is a chain with a reproduction of an ancient Oriental coin measuring 2 3/8" in diameter. The bell is 3" in diameter at it widest point, & measures 3 5/8" tall.
The bell is in excellent condition, has a mellow tone when sounded, & is extremely well done for a cast iron piece. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. |
