A really fantastic brass vase with the "Dragon In The Clouds" motif in high relief. It measures 5-1/2 inches tall.
The vase was purchased at an estate sale where the former owner had lived in the Orient for a number of years & is not an export item. Most items in the home dated c. 1920 or earlier.
The fierce dragon is the 3-toed variety & is really eye catching beauty. The vase measures approximately 6" tall & about 4 1/2" across at it's widest point. There are no marks but the vase is in very good condition.
This would make a lovely cabinet piece or as a wonderful decorative accent in your favorite room. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. |
