This lovely Japanese bronze 3-legged vase is a wonderful addition to any fine home.
The vase has an inlaid silver & gold shore scene with flowers, bamboo, a water bird on shore & a darker water bird swimming near the shore. There are also engraving lines for definition of the water & shore scene.
The handles are mythical oriental creatures. The vase is 10 1/4" tall, measures 8" from outside of handles, 4 1/2" in diameter at the top, & the three legs are 8" apart. There is no signature.
The vase is in very good condition with no dents or cracks. It has it's original patina, dating to the late nineteenth century & has not had any polishing to ruin it's finish.
