A beautiful, vintage Near East 950 silver bracelet with a great deal of fine, ornate work & "gem" stones for your appreciation.
This piece was purchased by Col. Don Davis, U. S. Army (Ret'd.) in 1949 while in Lebanon. Col. Davis was a child actor in the famous Max Sennett movies.
The bracelet measures 8 3/4 inches in length, including the clasp. The circular links are 1" in diameter. It is marked: Para George .. EBANON Silver 95.. The L in Lebanon & the 0 in the 950 were missed in marking.
There are 5 "gem" stones, amethyst, aquamarine, green, amber & red. The center piece is hinged & opens for placement of small photos.
The work is fine, extremely detailed, & unlike any piece of it's kind that we've seen. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. |
