This beautiful, hand painted bowl has beautiful roses, gold decorations, & reticulated designs.
The bowl measures 8 1/2" across at the reticulated handles, 8" in diameter across the bowl, & 1 3/4" high at the handles. It is in very good condition - there are no scratches, chips or cracks. The gold shows some wear on the bowl edge, as would be considered normal for an item of this age.
The base of the bowl is marked with blue "crossed arrows" & with the number "7449" under the mark. Kalk Porcelain Factory, Germany used this mark c.

1904 but Andacht cites it as a carry over from the Nippon era.
The bowl has lovely hand painted Bohemian-type roses with leaves & gold vines. The bowl is reticulated for added attraction & has flourishes of gold around the reticulations & on the handles. This is a truly lovely item.
