The styling & detailing of this beautiful Murano glass pheasant is wonderful.
From it's clear, gold flecked base, to it's beak & up to the tip of it's tail, the pheasant ranges from green to gold to soft deep rose, & then is cased in clear. The detailing indicates that it pre-dates 1950.
The heavy metallic inclusions & finished details give the realistic impression of true feathers. It measures almost 11 inches tall at the top of it's tail feathers, & 8 inches long from tail to beak.
This has been one of my favorite pieces for a long time & it is the first time I've placed it for sale. I hope the next owner loves it as much as I have. Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. |
