An antique family scales by Landers, Frary & Clark for household weights up to 24 pounds.
The scales is in very good condition for an item of this age. It appears to be older than some that show a patent dating 1907 as there is no patent date on this item.
Also, the frame around the face of the scales is very ornated, unlike others we've seen by this maker.
The front of the scales reads: Columbia Family Scales; 24 pounds by ounces; WARRANTED; LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK; NEW BRITAIN.CONN.U.S.A.
The face & numbers are in very good condition, easily readable. The knurled knob that adjusts the scales turns easily. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
