S09-7

1870's - 80'S FALSTAFF PISSING TOBY JOKE JUG Yes, the Victorians did have a sense or humor. This well designed saltglaze Toby of Falstaff plays a trick on the holder. Fill him up and his mug springs a leak! Falstaff also springs a leak! It is most appropriate (and no accident) that this 9.5 inch jug features the figure of Falstaff, a rowdy Shakespearean fictional character that was always a favorite with the audience. Falstaff is in good condition, there is a minor hairline at the bend in his handle. Buyer does pay shipping.
