You are looking a wonderful group of 5 Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1619) musicians each with a detachable head. These large figures range from 12 inches to 13.5 inches tall, and each figure has a distinctive turquoise green glaze. These figures are guaranteed to the original purchaser to be of the indicated period without limitation.
Condition: The figures show the expected degradation, glaze chips and cracks, and abrasions as a consequence of 100's of years of burial and subsequent excavation, cleaning and restoration.
Warranty: As noted above, guaranteed to be of the period without limitation to the original purchaser. Proof of contrary age to be signed certification from a curator of Oriental Arts of a major museum; or results from a recognized testing laboratory (to be accepted by me in advance) using thermoluminescence technology.
