This is a stricking African Lua-Lua tribal mask from Zaire or Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is roughly 100 years old and exhibits the wear consistent with masks used in ceremonies, not tourist pieces. It retains the cord netting used to hold it on. It is 12 inches tall.
