You are looking at an excellent example of a civil war veterns cane that has been carved to a fine detail. The carvings are all in the bark of this cane. They include Corps badges, a black man's face, a rooster, Initials, and various monuments and geometric designs. The handle has a hole through its length - for what purpose I don't know. There are missing pieces to several of the designs - see the photos. It is a tall 38 1/2 inches long. |
