This is a rooster/chicken in blue glaze made by Larry Moore of Moore Pots Pottery in Seagrove, North Carolina. It is dated 2006, numbered #207, and is a full 12 inches tall. The Moore family have been potters in North Carolina for generations. His brother Charlie created many of the animal figurals for Jugtown Pottery (located accross the street). All of Larry Moore's figural pieces reflect his sense of humor. Low reserve. |
