You are looking at a striking 19th century (around the time of the Civil War) Pennsylvania jelly cupboard or server. It has old paint (last quarter 19th century in the Cottage style) with grain decoration on the door panels and drawer fronts. The wood is a combination of pine and poplar. It also has original hardware. Roughly, it is 50 inches tall including the back splash and 44 inches wide.
Note. This is a large substantial, very sturdy, heavy, piece of furniture. It would be best for the buyer to pick it up at our shop in Williamsburg, Virginia. The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. We will help in any way we can and will deliver within 100 miles (fee will apply) of Williamsburg.
