This salt-glazed stoneware jug with cobalt blue decoration of a bird or parrot stands 11 inches high and is 7.5 inches in diameter. It is signed WHITE'S UTICA and was made between 1863 & 1876 by the White's Pottery, Utica, New York. It is in good condition having only two chips that were glazed over in the firing. Buyer pays for shipping and Virginia buyers pay 5 % sales tax.
