This basket was reportedly (by family tradition) collected by a Richmond, Virginia, couple on a trip in the late 1920's. It stands a full 15 inches tall and is 20 inches in diameter. It is very tightly woven in a coil construction. It is in very good condition with no breaks, but slightly out of round. A nice Navajo lady suggested that she could wet it down and pull it back into shape. Sounded risky to us so we passed. Buyer pays shipping.
