This Folk Art Book Holder was a Christmas gift to a sister. It was carefully burned with Iris designs on the ends and with sayings along the edges of the book holder. One side says 'Old books to read', and the other says 'Old friends to trust.' There must have been some book lovers in the family. An ornate letter 'B' decorates the center of the book holder.
This book holder is in very good condition with a chip taken out of one side.
I am showing this item at our antique mall, so it is not offered exclusively. So if you want it, wait for me to respond to you as to its availability before any money changes hands. If you decide to buy it, I will pull it from inventory as soon as I can get to the mall. |
