When we go shopping for antiques around Wisconsin and Minnesota, we come across some pretty interesting items. This is one of them. It is a small Disney sand pail featuring a seashore scene with Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Pluto. The three ducklings are carrying shovels and Donald is carying a pail and shovel while Pluto carries a pail in his mouth. There are gulls and sailboats on the blue sky background.
The pail and shovel are in excellent condition. There is a bit of wear of paint off the edges and on the inside of the pail. The shovel has 3 small rusty spot and some slight paint wear, but is in otherwise excellent condition. There is no rust, pitting or missing pieces to the pail. The colors are fresh and the scene is classic Disney. There is a copyright date of 1949 on the side of the pail. |
