This menu board is just the thing for advertising collectors. It has the nostalgic look and feel of a time gone by when a cup of coffee was a nickel and the waitress would call you 'hon'.
It is 27 by 19 inches. On the menu board is the advertisement for Sun-Drop Cola - The Only Golden Cola. On the bottom of the menu board is 'Refreshing as a Cup of Coffee.'
As for condition, it is plainly evident that this was a menu board that was in use at a diner or club. There are nail holes in the corners and sides and there is some bending of the metal that happened perhaps when it was removed from whatever wall it hung on. In the corners and sides there is some paint removed around the nail holes. Except for the nail marks on the side of the menu board, the chalkboard part is intact. To me the marks and nail holes give it a greater indication that it is an authentic collectible.
I will no doubt ship this via UPS. I think you will find this to be a worthy addition to your advertising collection. Or even on your restaurant wall - it's that good! |
