I wasn't alive in the days when chalkware was a common prize at the local carnivals or fairs. But I can still appreciate their simple beauty and I can imagine the joy and fond memories that winning a pretty chalkware horse like this one can bring.
This horse is in very good condition. The colors are richer than what the pictures can show. It appears that the horse has some flaking or discoloration around its head.
I am showing this item at our antique mall, so it is not offered exclusively. So if you want it, wait for me to respond to you as to its availability before any money changes hands. If you decide to buy it, I will pull it from inventory as soon as I can get to the mall.
