This is a somewhat different item in Japan made ceramics than what one usually sees in the shops. This is a depiction of an 18th century woman as a whisk broom. She is done in a tan or yellow outfit where everything including the broom matches. On the back you will notice the Japan mark.
Her dress shows a bit of aging to it, but it is in great shape otherwise. Overall, the condition is very good to excellent with no cracks, chips, or crazing that I know of. As for dating, it's possible that these were made either during the time of Occupied Japan, or between the world wars. Contact me for shipping and handling costs. I do not charge extra for packaging of items shipped by USPS Priority Mail - you pay only the cost of the shipping and insurance. If you require shipping by some other means, I add $2.00 extra for the cost of the box. International buyers, I add $3.00 extra to the cost of shipping.
I am showing this item at our antique mall, so it is not offered exclusively. So if you want it, wait for me to respond to you as to its availability before any money changes hands. If you decide to buy it, I will pull it from inventory as soon as I can get to the mall. |
