By our estimates, this grand paper mache doll hails from the mid-nineteenth century. The head, hands and feet are all paper mache. The hair appears to be a lock of human hair. She's stuffed with straw, and everything but the duct tape repair (see photo) appears to be original.
The head, although repaired does have beautiful blue glass eyes. She's all a Victorian girl would want.
I am showing this item at our antique mall, so it is not offered exclusively. So if you want it, wait for me to respond to you as to its availability before any money changes hands. If you decide to buy it, I will pull it from inventory as soon as I can get to the mall.
