1813 Columbian Centinel Newspaper with GOLD COIN
WOW!!! Take a look at this! This is an original Columbian Centinel Semi-Weekly Newspaper published in Boston, Mass on August 18, 1813! The paper was in circulation from 1788-1840. It has a total of two pages front and back(4 total). Front page has stories of Campaigns against Napoleon in Europe with dispatches from Wellington. Paper has no tears or holes and is easily read. Included in this package is an 1811, 40 franc Gold Piece! Face of coin shows Napoleon as Emperor; grade is a solid XF with .900 of Fine Gold, just under a half an ounce. This is a SOLID example of early 1800's world History. Would be perfect in a flat shadowbox for displaying newspaper with gold coin. WHAT A DEAL for a piece of history!!!
