Wonderful Victorian Gold Filled Mythological CAMEO For sale is a lovely Victorian era shell cameo set in a gold filled setting. The scene carved into the shell is of a mythological subject. There is very nice detail to the carving. The cameo can be worn as a pin or a pendant if a jump ring is placed in the metal ring that is attached to the top of the cameo (SEE PHOTO). The cameo is in excellent original condition with no damage. There is some areas of wear to the plating and oxidation to the metal, but minor. The cameo dates to approximately 1890.
