Rare signed ROBERT JARVIE Brass Standing Picture Frame
For sale is a standing picture frame made by Robert Jarvie. The frame has a emblem on the bottom of the frame, AMPA(American Meat Packers Association) with a date of 1914. The frame is marked on the back by the easel, MADE BY ROBERT JARVIE UNION STOCKYARDS CHICAGO. The Frame measures approximately 7 inches tall with a width of approximately 5 1/2 inches. The frame can take a picture of 4 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/8 inches. The oval part of the frame measures approximately 5 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. The frame is quite heavy for a small frame and weighs 380 grams. The frame is in very good condition with a mellow patina. I have not polished it and am not sure if it was ever done. One can find candlesticks but unusual items such as this picture frame are hard to find. Shipping with insurance will be $18.00 in the Continental USA.
