Strong Iridescent LOETZ Inkwell For sale is a very attractive Loetz inkwell with strong purple and green iridescent colors. The inkwell is unsigned, MOST ARE UNSIGNED. The inkwell is in the shape of a pyramid topped with a gold plated hammered lid. The gold plating is worn giving the piece a rich antique look. When lifting the lid a small glass liner sits in the art glass case. There are some small rim chips to the clear glass liner. The inkwell itself is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. I believe the inkwell dates to approximately 1910. The base of the inkwell measures approximately 4 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches and stands approximately 3 inches. Shipping with insurance will be $16.00 in the Continental USA.
