STEUBEN Ash Receiver/Ashtray
Offered is a 2 part ash receiver with the glass insert being Steuben art glass. The metal base was silverplated when new and the plating is wearing away to a copper base. The plating is most noticeably worn on the rim and the cigarette holders. The metal base is not marked and other than the wearing to the plate there is no damage. The glass insert is blue aurene in the cupped area and the backside is white calcite with a ground base. The glass insert is not marked. I believe this to be definitely Steuben as Steuben was famous for their use of white calcite with other glass. This ashtray is definitely of the Art Deco period. There are a couple of minor scratches to the blue aurene in the center of the bowl(see picture). Other than the minor scratches there are no chips, cracks or repairs. The glass insert fits perfectly into the metal holder and is definitely original. The glass insert has a diameter of approximately 5 1/8 inches and is approximately 1 1/8 inches tall. The diameter of the metal holder excluding the cigarette holders is approximately 6 3/8 inches. Each holder sticks out approximately 7/8 of an inch from the rim. Ash receiver stands approximately 3 5/8 inches tall. Shipping with insurance and handling will be $22.00 in the Continental USA.

STEUBEN Blue Aurene Atomizer
For sale is a Steuben blue aurene atomizer. Atomizer stands approximately 7 1/4 inches tall and the base has a diameter of approximately 2 1/2 inches. The atomizer is in fine condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The squeeze ball is the original and has hardened with age, they can be replaced but I will let the new owner decide for themselves. The glass rod that attaches to the atomizer(see photo) appears to be the original. I have also shown 2 photos where the base of the stem meets the base. In these photos you can see where these were attached. This is NOT damage but a factory process. There is no roughness at all to the attachment and the aurene finish encompasses it entirely. I have only described this for accuracy. This type of art glass was hand made. The atomizer is not signed but shown in many Steuben books. For sale is a clear green stump vase made and signed by Steuben. The vase stands approximately 6 inches high and the base has a diameter of approximately 3 1/2 inches. Vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The vase is signed on the bottom in the middle with white block letters (STEUBEN).
