PAIR RS GERMANY Flower Holders with PORCELAIN FROGS For sale is an extremely hard to find matching pair of flower holders with original porcelain frogs made by Reinhold Schlegelmich (RS Germany). Each flower holder (with frog insert) stands approximately 4 inches tall and has a width from end of handle to end of handle of approximately 6 1/2 inches. The frogs have the same green paint and shading as do the holders. Both flower holders and frogs are in very good condition with the exception of 1 tiny flake on the underside of one of the frogs (see photo - need almost a magnifying glass to see) and 1 handle edge has 2 small touched up flakes or quite possibly manufacturing flaws(see photo)and one handle near the base has a bruise, hard to see unless using a magnifying glass (see photo). The flaws I have described are very minor and only added for accuracy. The flower arrangers date to approximately 1925 and are both marked on the bottom, frogs are not marked but clearly are original to the holders. I have never had an original porcelain frog that goes with its base let alone a matching pair. I decided to sell them as a pair as they have been with one another all this time and compliment one another. Shipping with insurance will be $20.00 in the Continental USA.
