Fancy Antique Sterling Hinged Box
For sale is a very ornate sterling hinged box that is marked on the bottom (sterling 930). I believe the box is German or somewhere from the Netherlands and dates to approximately 1900. The box stands approximately 2 inches tall and has a diameter of approximately 4 inches. The box is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. It weighs approximately 227 grams. Pair of Sterling 3 Light Candelabras
Offered are a pair of weighted and reinforced sterling 3 light candelabras made by Towle. Candelabras come apart in 2 pieces each (by screwing off or on). The candelabras stand approximately 14 inches in height and are in excellent condition with minor wear to silver. They date to approximately 1945. 5 piece Heavy Sterling Coffee & Tea Service
For sale is a nice 5 piece coffee and tea service made by the Schofield Company. Each piece of the set has a nice weight to it. All pieces are marked on the bottom with the Schofield logo and with the words Schofield Co. Baltimore along with the word sterling and 925 fine. Each piece also has the number 5500 on the bottom. I believe this number refers to the pattern. All the pieces have a monogrammed letter on the front. I believe the letter is a V but cannot be sure as it is fancy. Monograms can be buffed out by a silversmith. Each piece has a lovely etched pattern to it. Set consists of a coffee pot, tea pot, sugar and creamer along with a stemmed bowl(slop bowl). Coffee pot stands approximately 12 inches tall and the widest part (from end of spout to handle) is approximately 9 1/2 inches and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces. The tea pot stands approximately 10 inches high and the widest part (from tip of spout to handle) is approximately 9 1/2 inches and weighs 1 pound 14 ounces. The covered sugar bowl stands approximately 8 1/2 inches and the widest part (from handle to handle) is approximately 7 inches and weighs 1 pound 4.4 ounces. The creamer stands approximately 7 3/4 inches tall and the widest part (pouring spout to handle) is approximately and weighs 12.8 ounces. The bowl stands approximately 5 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl on top is approximately 5 inches and weighs 13.8 ounces. The coffee pot is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. The tea pot is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. The covered sugar is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. The creamer is in excellent condition with a very minor dent at the top of the handle(not bad) and also has minor wear to the silver. The bowl is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. Art Noveau Repousse STERLING Hand Mirror and Brush Set
For sale is a 2 piece dresser set consisting of a hand mirror and hair brush. Each piece has blown out flowers and a woman's head with flowing hair in the center of each piece. The set is quite elaborate and beautiful. I have had a number of these sets in the past but this is with out doubt the nicest one that I have ever had. The mirror is marked sterling 925 on the handle. The brush has a patent date on the handle of Aug. 12, 1902. I can find no makers mark. The hand mirror is in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. The mirror itself is beveled and not in need of resilvering. The brush is also in excellent condition with minor wear to the silver. The brush itself is very good with some of the bristles being worn away(not bad). There are no monograms on either piece. Neoclassical Style Repousse GERMAN SILVER Oval Bowl
For sale is a German silver oval bowl in a neoclassic style repousse cut-out pattern and dating to approximately 1900. The bowl has a nice heavy weight of 244 grams. The border has a combination of lattice (cut-out) and repousse work of baskets and garlands of roses. Bowl is marked on the inside bottom edge R + S 800. It measures approximately 8 3/4 inches long and has a width of approximately 6 1/2 inches. It stands approximately 1 3/4 inches tall. The bowl is in excellent condition with very minor wear to silver. Shipping with insurance will be $12.00 in the Continental USA.
