Royal Vienna Bowl circa 1910
Offered is a Royal Vienna bowl circa 1910. The bowl is decorated with a classical scene of a woman pulling a cupid in a chariot. The bowl is signed Angeline Kaufmann. I believe the bowl is a transfer print, not hand painted. It bears two stamps on the bottom. One is the Royal Vienna Beehive mark. The other is a crown/crest marked Vienna/Austria mark. There are three impressed marks: 1) TK, 2) a propeller mark, and 3) 25. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is minor gilt wear to the edge of the rim. Offered is a Royal Vienna hand painted plate, signed by the artist, Schular. The plate has the blue beehive mark for Royal Vienna on backside of plate. Also on back of plate in script is: Jupiter u. Calisto. The plate is approximately 7 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate is in excellent condition with very minor wear of gilding. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on the plate.
