Antique Carved Wood Stag Head Wall Plaque For sale is a carved wood Stag or deer head with taxidermist glass eyes that hangs on the wall. The piece dates to approximately 1920 and measures approximately 11 1/2 inches (from top of antlers to bottom of wall plaque) and has a width (widest part of plaque) of approximately 7 3/4 inches. The deer head or stag head sticks out approximately 4 1/2 inches. I am not sure what the antlers are made out of (not wood). I believe the piece was refinished at one point. The wall plaque has a triangle hook on the back to hang on a wall. The carved wall decoration is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
