For sale is a carnival glass bowl with 3 feet made by Northwood in the Grape & Cable pattern. The bowl stands approximately 3 1/4 inches tall and the opening is approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. The bowl dates to approximately 1920 and is in excellent condition with the exception of some roughness at the seam of 1 foot (SEE PHOTO), I am not sure if this is a factory flaw as the roughness occurs from the underneath of the foot to the top at the seam of the mold. The bowl does have some factory straw marks in the inside, most pieces do. The glass is cobalt blue with a strong purple/gold iridescence finish. Shipping with insurance will be $10.00 in the Continental USA. |
