For sale is a compote made by Cambridge glass in the rose point pattern with sterling trim work made by Wallace in the rose point pattern. The sterling is marked on the underside of the compote at the rim where the glass meets the sterling. There is a ruffled pattern to the top of the sterling rim. The compote stands approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and the base has a width of approximately 3 1/2 inches and the top of compote has a width of approximately 8 1/2 inches. The compote is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. I believe the piece dates to approximately 1950. Shipping with insurance will be $20.00 in the Continental USA. |
