This brightly colored hand painted Lusterware porcelain creamer and saucer was Made in Japan. It is marked in red on bottom of both pieces Hand Painted Made in Japan with a picture of a flower in center. They are both painted in orange, white and black with an arrangement of various hand painted flowers on both sides of the creamer. The design is so distinct with a black handle and black vertical lines, orange rim and white lower portion of the creamer; the saucer is in the shape of a flower petal with orange outer edging, white inner petals outlinned in black. This is an unusual set as I have not seen the pattern or design anywhere. |
