Vintage booklet Josephine Gibson's Tested Recipes and Planned Menus prepared for Arbogast & Bastian Co, (A & B Meats) of Allentown, Pa. This 36 page cookbook made for the meat processing plant contains a cooking time table and recipes for pork, bacon, sausage, beef, veal, lamb and cold cuts. This is a wonderful piece of Allentown local history from A & B Meats. The booklet of recipes is over 60 years old and no longer has it's cover. There is also no date on the book, but it was from our family in 40's - 50's. |
