Silver on Copper Shell Ashtray Dish, England This is a lovely silver over copper shell shaped small dish or ashtray. The silver has worn off the ribs in the bowl so you can see the copper. From an estate, looks like it was used as an ashtray.
The bottom is marked William Adams, Made in England, 42442. It measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches. I will leave the decision to polish or clean it up to the new owner.

JLS Silver Co. Crown Shell Candy Bon Bon Dish This is a shell shaped candy or bon bon dish from JLS Silver Company. It is decorated at the handle side with an ornate crown. I believe it is silver plate. It measures about 6 3/4 inches across and has three ball feet.
