Manufacturer: Metlox Poppytrail
This is the covered sugar bowl from Metlox, Poppytrail Division, in the California Aztec pattern. This pattern was produced in 1955. It is a white speckled body with black wavy line and gray. This piece is in near mint condition with only a small shallow chip in the glaze on the edge of the lid. It measures 6 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches tall. No mark on bottom. The book value for this piece is $60 (Metlox Potteries Identification and Values, 2nd Edition). |
