This is Shenango China's Edgemere pattern in red and white. All other examples I have seen of this pattern have had the design in brown. The plate is round and divided into four outer sections and a round center section. It measures 9 1/2 inches across. It is heavy stoneware or restaurant ware, in mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and no utensil marks. It has the green seated Indian mark on the back |
