Boxer dog 1952 original German card. This very pretty single original card,(on thin paper),was issued in Germany by the Austria Tobacco Co. in 1952 and is from a set of 150 cards entitled "Kamerad Hund" "(Our Friend the Dog)". A special album was available at the time for these cards to be stuck into for display and unusually for these this card has not been stuck into an album at all.This card is from the first grouping of 25 cards and is more difficult to find than others in this series. The front of the card shows an artist drawn picture and the back has a brief description of the breed in German. It measures 4.5 inches by 3.5 inches approx and is in very good condition. Boxer year 2000 label/stamp. This very pretty label/stamp was issued for East Timor in the year 2000,(even though it looks like a postage stamp,in that it has perforations,gum on the reverse etc),it is probably not one in that it was never designed to perform a postal duty.It also has a cancellation mark on it that was very probably applied at the printers.It measures 1 inch by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition although it does have light crease at the dogs back leg. Boxer dog year 2002 Benin label/stamp. This very pretty label/stamp was issued for the Republic of Benin in 2002.It has gum on the reverse leading us to believe that it has not performed a postal function.It is 2 inches by 1.5 inches approx.It is in very good condition. The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Boxer dog UK single 1997 playing card. This single playing card was issued in England in 1997 by Heritage Toy Ltd and was part of their playing card set entitled "The Famous Dogs of the World".It was illustrated by John Denaro.It measures 3.5 inches by 2.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition.The text and the image are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Boxer dog year 2004 game card. This very nice single card is taken from a set issued by the AKC,(American Kennel Club) in 2004.It has printed text on the front that states the country of origin and the group that the dog belongs to ie....Terriers,Toys etc.It measures 3 inches by 4.5 inches.It is in very good condition.The back of the card has the AKC logo printed on it.The text and the image are clearer/sharper than the scan shows them to be.  

Boxer dog original 1961 UK card. This very nice single card was issued in England in 1961 by Hornimans Tea and is part of their 48 card series entitled "Dogs".It has printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 2.75 inches by 1.5 inches approx and is in very good condition.The printed text on the reverse of this card reads as follows....."A German dog fashioned in Munich about 70 years ago for police work from many Continental breeds and the British Bulldog. Gets his English name from his habit of starting to play or fight by striking with his front paws. Remarkably stylish and elegant considering weight and power. Most outstanding characteristic is the head, with pronounced stop and muzzle one-third of total length. Nose higher at tip than at root." Boxer dog original unusual European card. This unusual European card was issued in the 1960's as part of a 80 card series.It does not have text on the reverse relating to the breed apart from the dog breed in 2 or 3 languages.It measures 2.75 inches by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.

Boxer dog original unusual 1930's card. This very pretty original hard to find trade card was issued in Europe in the 1930’s.The image was used by a few different firms. This card was meant to be stuck into an album which was available at the time but this card is unusual in that it has never been so used.....it has printed text in Dutch on the reverse. It measures 3.25 inches by 2 inches approx. It is in very good condition although all the corners are a little rounded.......please see the scan.The image and the lettering are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Boxer v.pretty original European sticker. This very pretty thin paper single original card/sticker was issued by Service Line in Italy in the early 1990's as part of their set of cards entitled "Dogs and Cats".It has a peel off paper back which leaves adhesive on the card for it to be stuck into an album which was available at the time.This card/sticker has never been in an album and the backing paper is still attached.It measures 2.75 inches by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition although it does have some surface creasing......please see the scan.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.

Boxer v.nice UK unusual transparency. Blue Cap Cheese issued this Boxer transparency,(which is similar to an unmounted film slide),in the UK in 1952.It was given free with purchases.It is 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches approx.The image and the text are a little clearer/sharper than the scan shows them to be.It is not an easy or common item to find.It is in very good condition....as is normal with these the solid blue border has some light scratching.  

Boxer unusual unissued UK 1950's card. This very pretty single card depicting a Boxer was produced but not put into packets of cigarettes around the 1955 period due to the imposition of a tax on packets containing cards.The paper the card was produced on has an onion skin type finish.This card is taken from a series of 50 card entitled "Dog's Heads" by John Player and Sons of the United Kingdom.The illustrations are from drawings by Peter Biegel.There is printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.The card measures 2.75 inches by 1.5 inches approx.The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.It is in very good condition although it has a small edge knock at the left and there is a small spot just up from the dogs nose.......please see the scan. The printed text on the reverse of this card reads as follows....."When the cruel sport of bull-baiting was abolished in Germany, the Bullenbeisser (now extinct) rapidly lost public favour. In its place a lighter, smaller dog was bred known as the Boxer, and the No. 1 of the breed in the German Stud Book was "Flocki", a dog born in 1895. Although a few Boxers were imported from 1912 onwards, it was not until 1933 that the breed was established in this country. It is becoming increasingly popular in Britain and the U.S.A., while European Police and Military authorities use it for varied purposes including guard duties. Boxer unusual 1975 French card. This is a seldom seen single card on thin glossy paper depicting a Boxer.It has printed text in French on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 3 inches by just over 2 inches approx.Issued in France in 1975 as part of a series in a booklet entitled Histoire Naturelle "Chiens et Chats".It is in very good condition and the image is a little sharper than the scan shows it to be.  

Boxer v.nice single 1988 UK trade card. This very pretty original single trade card was issued in the United Kingdom in 1988 as part of a set of cards entitled "Dogs" "2nd series".Printed text on the reverse relates to the issuer which was "Cofton Collections".It measures 2.75 inches by 1.5 inches approx.It is in very good condition although it does have a small printing fault spot in the right margin.....the actual image on the card is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.  

Boxer single original 1988 trade card. This very pretty single card was issued in 1988 by ACE cards in France as one of their 33 card set entitled "The World of Dogs". It has a fair amount of printed text on the front relating to the breed and the back has multiple ACE logos as its design. It is fairly large as it measures 5.75 inches by 3.5 inches approx.The image is a lot clearer than the scan shows it to be and the text is perfectly readable and clear.It is in very good condition, although as with all of these cards it has a small amount of light surface disturbance which in no way intereferes with the clarity of the image or text.....please see the scan.  

Boxer original single 1961 UK card. This single card was issued in 1961 by Barbers Tea Ltd of England as part of their 24 card set entitled "Dogs".It has printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 2.75 inches by 1.5 inches approx.....the actual image is a little sharper than the scan shows it to be.
 

Boxer v.pretty original 1938 single UK card. This very pretty original single card was issued in 1938 by Gallaher Ltd in the United Kingdom as part of their 2nd series of cards entitled "Dogs".It has printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches.It is in very good condition although it does have faint line running across the card,caused by the pinch roller not being adjusted correctly in the printing process,(the pinch roller moves the cards along),please see the scan.....the actual image is clearer than the scan shows it to be.The printed text on the reverse of this card reads as follows....."The German Boxer, as he is usually called, is a powerful and fierce-looking dog, often used by police on the Continent in criminal work. He has long been established as a separate breed, but he is known to be descended from strains of the Mastiff and Great Dane, though rather smaller in stature than either. Despite his appearance, which is accentuated by his crop ears, he is very affectionate towards his human friends."  

Boxer puppy v.pretty German postcard. This very pretty original postcard has not been postally used and was issued in Germany in the late 1990's we believe.It measures 6 inches by 4 inches approx.It has a serrated edge at the top from where it was in a booklet.It is in very good condition although it does have a knock at the bottom left corner.......please see the scan.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.  

Boxer v.nice original 1972 Australian card. This very nice original card of a Boxer was issued in Australia in 1972 by Golden Fleece as part of a 36 card set. The Boxer pictured is named as Aust.Ch. Taree Karate. The front of the card shows a photographic picture of the dog and the back has a brief printed description of the breed. The card measures 2.25 inches by 3.5 inches. It is in very good condition and the image is a little clearer than the scans shows it to be.
