Briard dog v.pretty single playing card.
This very pretty single playing card has been taken from a recently issued deck of cards from China.It measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches approx.It is in very good condition.......the image and text are clearer/sharper than the scan shows them to be.

Briard working dog original 1952 German card.
This very pretty single original card,(on thin paper),was issued in Germany by the Austria Tobacco Co. in 1952 and is from a set of 150 cards entitled "Kamerad Hund" "(Our Friend the Dog)". A special album was available at the time for these cards to be stuck into for display and unusually for these this card has not been stuck into an album at all. The front of the card shows an artist drawn picture and the back has a brief description of the breed in German. It measures 4.5 inches by 3.5 inches approx and is in very good condition. Briard dog year 2000 label/stamp.
This very pretty label/stamp was issued for East Timor in the year 2000,(even though it looks like a postage stamp,in that it has perforations,gum on the reverse etc),it is probably not one in that it was never designed to perform a postal duty.It also has a cancellation mark on it that was very probably applied at the printers.It measures 1 inch by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition. Briard dog year 2004 single game card.
This very nice single card is taken from a set issued by the AKC,(American Kennel Club) in 2004.It has printed text on the front that states the country of origin and the group that the dog belongs to ie....Terriers,Toys etc.It measures 3 inches by 4.5 inches.It is in very good condition.The back of the card has the AKC logo printed on it.The text and the image are clearer/sharper than the scan shows them to be.

Briard/ Beauceron unusual single original European card
This unusual European card,(it states that it is a Beauceron on the reverse but looks much more like a Briard in our estimation),was issued in the 1960's as part of a 80 card series.It does not have text on the reverse relating to the breed apart from the dog breed in 2 or 3 languages.It measures 2.75 inches by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.

Briard large European cigar band.
This very pretty large cigar band with the image of a Briard was issued by T.S.H.Hippo in Europe in the last few years.It is more detailed than the scan shows it to be.It measures 4 inches by 2 inches approx.It is in very good condition and has the name of the breed,a small amount of text in Dutch and a number printed on the back.Cigar bands are a large collecting field with many manufacturers producing sets of various topics.....we have a fair selection of cigar bands featuring dogs which we hope to list over the coming weeks/months.

Briard v.nice 1923 chocolate card.
This is a very nicely detailed image of a Dogue de Bordeaux.This thin paper card was issued by Peter Cailler,Kohler and Nestle in 1923. The set this is taken from is entitled "Chiens de Garde".The back is blank. It was given free with purchases of chocolate.A special album was available for these cards to be mounted in....this card has never been so mounted.It measures 2.25 inches by 1.75 inches approx.It is in very good condition.The image and the lettering are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.

Briard unusual 1950's French card.
This is an unusual,seldom seen,thin paper card issued in the 1950's by Honig Foods in France.It depicts a Briard.It has printed text on the reverse in French listing the types of products made by Honig's and also the name of the breed and a number.It measures 3 inches by 2.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition but as is normal for these,(because of the thin paper) there is some creasing/bending on the card which can mainly be seen when the card is held at an angle to the light.The image is a little clearer than the scans shows it to be.

This is a seldom seen single card on thin glossy paper depicting a Briard.It has printed text in French on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 3 inches by just over 2 inches approx.Issued in France in 1975 as part of a series in a booklet entitled Histoire Naturelle "Chiens et Chats".It is in very good condition and the image is a little sharper than the scan shows it to be.

This pretty postcard has not been postally used and was issued in Germany in 1996.It measures 5.5 inches by 4 inches approx.....it has a serrated edge at the top from when it was removed from a booklet.It is in very good condition.......please see the scan.The actual image is clearer than the scan shows it to be.

Briard v.pretty Begium postally used postcard
This very pretty original postcard was postally used in Belgium around the 2000 period we believe.It measures 6 inches by 4 inches approx.It is in fair to good condition as it has a fair amount of creasing at the left top and bottom corners,the corners are all a little rounded/knocked,there is some surface scratching.....please see the scan.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be.
