French Bulldog Frenchie original 1952 German card. This very pretty single original card,(on thin paper),was issued in Germany by the Austria Tobacco Co. in 1952 and is from a set of 150 cards entitled "Kamerad Hund" "(Our Friend the Dog)". A special album was available at the time for these cards to be stuck into for display and unusually for these this card has not been stuck into an album at all. The front of the card shows an artist drawn picture and the back has a brief description of the breed in German. It measures 4.5 inches by 3.5 inches approx and is in very good condition. French Bulldog year 2000 label/stamp. This very pretty label/stamp was issued for East Timor in the year 2000,(even though it looks like a postage stamp,in that it has perforations,gum on the reverse etc),it is probably not one in that it was never designed to perform a postal duty.It also has a cancellation mark on it that was very probably applied at the printers.It measures 1 inch by 2 inches approx and is in very good condition. French Bulldog original single playing card. This very pretty single playing card was recently issued in China. This single playing card measures 4.75 inches by 3.5 inches approx. It is in very good condition although it does have some small areas of surface disturbance which can mainly be seen when the card is held at angle to the light....please see the scan. The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

French Bulldog dog original 1961 UK card. This very nice single card was issued in England in 1961 by Hornimans Tea and is part of their 48 card series entitled "Dogs".It has printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 2.75 inches by 1.5 inches approx and is in very good condition.The printed text on the reverse of this card reads as follows....."Despite his name, British by descent, another off-shoot of the Bulldog. Lace-workers from Nottingham took small Bulldogs with them when they went to work in France a hundred years ago and the "Frenchie" is the result. Smaller than a Bulldog, about 26 lbs., they have similar bodies but different heads emphasised by the 'bat' ears and the more level jaw. Colours: brindle, pied (white and brindle) and fawn." French Bulldog dog v.pretty year 2001 label/stamp. This very pretty label/stamp was issued for Dagestan in 2001.Even though it looks like a postage stamp we do not believe it was designed to perform a postal function.It is 1.5 inches by 1.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition. The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

French Bulldog v.pretty dog original 1934 UK card. This very pretty single card was issued in 1934 by Gallaher's as part of their series of 24 cards entitled "Dogs".The reverse has printed text mainly concerning the breed with a few words regarding the dog pictured which is Champion Gabrielle Silpho.The card measures 2.5 inches by 3.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition although it has at some point been corner mounted in an album and the residual pressure marks can just be made out and there is some light printing offset on the reverse which in no way affects the legibility of the text.The image and the text are a little clearer than the scans shows them to be.  

French Bulldog dog original unusual 1930's card. This very pretty original hard to find trade card was issued in Europe in the 1930’s.The image was used by a few different firms. This card was meant to be stuck into an album which was available at the time but this card is unusual in that it has never been so used.....it has printed text in Dutch on the reverse. It measures 3.25 inches by 2 inches approx. It is in very good condition although it does show some blueness on the front of the card from the logo on the reverse.......please see the scan.The image and the lettering are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

French Bulldog original 1939 photographic UK card. This very pretty single original photographic card was issued in 1939 in the UK for Senior Service cigarettes by the firm Pattreiouex Ltd.It is from a 48 card series entitled "Dogs".It has printed text on the reverse giving brief details re the breed and some more general hints re rearing etc of dogs.It measures 3 inches by 2 inches approx.It is in very good condition but as is normal for these there is a degree of disturbance,(light lines etc) on the surface of the photographic gloss which can be seen when the card is held at an angle to the light.The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

French Bulldog v.pretty European cigar band. This very pretty cigar band with the image of a French Bulldog was issued by Murillo in Europe in the last few years.It is more detailed than the scan shows it to be.It measures 2.75 inches by 1.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition and has a plain back.Cigar bands are a large collecting field with many manufacturers producing sets of various topics.....we have a fair selection of cigar bands featuring dogs which we hope to list over the coming weeks/months.
 

French Bulldog unusual 1950's French card. This unusual,seldom seen,thin paper card depicting a French Bulldog was issued in the 1950's by Honig Foods in France.It has printed text on the reverse in French listing the types of products made by Honig's and also the name of the breed and a number.It measures 3 inches by 2.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition but as is normal for these,(because of the thin paper) there is some creasing/bending on the card which can mainly be seen when the card is held at an angle to the light.The image is a little clearer than the scans shows it to be.

This very pretty postcard has not been postally used and was issued around the early 1990's we believe in Germany.It is of thinnish paper.It measures 5.75 inches by 4 inches approx.It is in very good condition with just some light corner knocking.......please see the scan.The actual image is clearer than the scan shows it to be.

This very pretty original postcard was postally used in Finland in 1985.It measures 6 inches by 4.25 inches approx.It is in good condition as it has creasing at each corner and the cancellation mark can be seen on the front ......please see the scan.The image is a little clearer than the scan shows it to be

French Bulldog original 1980's Dutch card. This unusual and very nice single card, showing a French Bulldog, comes from a card game issued in Holland in the 1980's. The card measures 4 inches by 2.75 inches approx. The printed text is perfectly readable on the actual card itself.The card is in good to very good condition although it does have a crease running across the card at an angle from the bottom left to about half an inch up from the bottom on the right. French Bulldog Lucy Dawson reproduction 1990 card. This very pretty single card depicting a French Bulldog called "Jeanot" is a reproduction of the original late 1930's card issued by W.D.& H.O.Wills from their 40 card series entitled "Puppies"......the set never made it in to general circulation because of the onset of the 2nd World War and paper rationing .The images were drawn by Lucy Dawson,(also known as "Mac"),who was a very much admired dog artist in her day and who is still well known today. The reproduction set from which this card is taken was issued in 1990 by Imperial Publishing Ltd in England. It has printed comments on the reverse by Lucy Dawson relating to the dog/s pictured........please click on the smaller image to the left which will bring up a scan of the rear,(the printing and image are clearer on the card than the scans shows them to be).
