Lhasa Apso original single playing card. This very pretty single playing card was recently issued in China. This single playing card measures 4.75 inches by 3.5 inches approx. It is in very good condition although it does have some small areas of surface disturbance which can mainly be seen when the card is held at angle to the light....please see the scan. The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Lhasa Apso v.pretty year 2001 mint label/stamp. This pretty label/stamp was issued in Europe in the year 2001,(even though it looks like a postage stamp....in that it has perforations etc...it is probably not one in that it was never designed to perform a postal duty).It measures 1.75 inches by 1.25 inches approx.It is in very good condition. The image and the text are a little clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Lhasa Apso dog year 2004 single game card. This very nice single card is taken from a set issued by the AKC,(American Kennel Club) in 2004.It has printed text on the front that states the country of origin and the group that the dog belongs to ie....Terriers,Toys etc.It measures 3 inches by 4.5 inches.It is in very good condition.The back of the card has the AKC logo printed on it.The text and the image are clearer/sharper than the scan shows them to be.  

Lhasa Apso v.pretty original 1950's Dutch card. This very pretty original card was issued in the 1950's in Holland by the United Tobacco Agencies,(UTA). The card was actually printed on to the packet itself and had to be cut out from there. A special album was available and this card has been removed from one such album by cutting around the frame on the page leaving the name of the breed readable. The card itself measures 2 inches by 3 inches approx. It is in very good condition although there is some light surface speckling/disturbance,(please see the scan)....the image and lettering are clearer than the scan shows them to be.  

Lhasa Apso v.pretty original 1938 UK card. This very pretty original single UK card was issued in 1938 by Gallaher Ltd as part of their 48 card series entitled "Dogs" "Second Series of 48".It has printed text on the reverse relating to the breed.It measures 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches.It is in very good condition.....the actual image is clearer than the scan shows it to be.The printed text on the reverse reads as follows....The appearance and origin of these dogs is as distinctive as their name. They come from Tibet, a land which is famed for its various breeds of dogs, two further examples being seen on Nos. 15 and 30 of this series. The abundance of hair protects them from intense winter cold of their lofty country, and in summer it is asserted that the natives shear off the hair and weave it into cloth."

This unusual and very nice single card, showing a Lhasa Apso dog, comes from a set of cards issued in Europe in 1993.....the reverse has a calendar for 1993 printed on it. The card measures 4 inches by 2.75 inches approx. The dog breed text is perfectly readable on the actual card itself.The card is in very good condition although it does have some light surface scatching/disturbance on the high gloss emulsion covering which can be mainly seen when the card is held at an angle to the light.
