This is an antique Hubley fireside cat or cat doorstop. It is made of cast iron and is hand painted. It is in excellent condition for its age. I'm not sure you could find one in better condition. It is missing tiny spots of paint here and there. Mostly on the tips of the ears but not all that bad. This inside is marked Hubley and is numbered. It looks like 335 or 395. This cat weighs over 5 pounds. The cat looks better than the pictures. It measures 10-1/2" long and 5-1/2" wide at the widest part.
